The included compact 1 lb. MX100 fire extinguisher is available in powder coated fire engine red or jet black and will not fade like anodized units on the market. Each extinguisher contains a siliconized sodium bicarbonate based dry chemical solution with free flowing and non-caking additives. This chemical smothers fires in flammable liquids and pressurized gases and will not conduct electricity back to the operator.
The included steel bracket is powder coated black for a factory look and includes all stainless steel hardware to mount your fire extinguisher in place. We chose to mount the extinguisher kit to the (2) forward most seat bolts of the passenger seat for easy access that's out of the way. The mounting bracket features 1 horizontally slotted holes making this mod compatible with all the aftermarket speaker enclosures and adjustable seat brackets we carry. The quick release clamp allows you to access your extinguisher in seconds in case of an emergency.
