Metal so it does have a few dings and scratches , overall good shape for its age of almost a hundred years old , has the small hanger on back , hose & nozzle were missing , made replacement from rubber hose , name plate history plates are made of brass, the screw on cap is also of solid brass , was tested up to 350 lbs pressure , extinguisher is no longer a hazard no chemicals empty extinguisher.
