The cylinder is filled with 4 lbs. Of monoammonium phosphate fire-fighting extinguishing agent. The painted steel handle, aluminum cylinder, metal valve, and impact-resistant handle make the Kidde home fire extinguisher tough, reliable, and dependable in the event of a fire.

The easy-to-pull safety pin, easy-to-read pressure indicator, and instruction label provide clear steps to operate the fire extinguisher - including a bilingual nameplate. Simply follow the PASS guide: pull the pin, aim at the base of the fire, squeeze the lever and handle, and sweep from side to side.

Hose and UL-approved wall mounting bracket included. USCG approved with strap bracket (NOT included). Dispose & replace if used, discharged, or if fire extinguisher is over 12 years old. Note that the dry chemical agent in this ABC fire extinguisher is non-toxic but may cause skin irritation. Pressure gauge allows for immediate pressure status check.
